Documents

Xylok allows users to upload Documents (.pdf, .docx, .xlsx) and store them under a Client. Uploaded Documents can be found under Clients-> Client Documents. From this view, Documents can be edited to reflect Classification, Date, and Notes. Documents can also be downloaded or deleted from Xylok from this view.

When Documents get uploaded to Xylok, they will be parsed and their contents stored within Xylok. The link at the top of the Document table can be used to access the Document Search functionality. This search will search for text within all uploaded documents for the current Client.

Search results will highlight the text that was found within the document, and will show the approximate location of that text within that document (except for .docx files, which do not provide page information in their XML content). There are options to copy the matching text, or download the document from Xylok using the buttons on the far right of each search result.
