Flexera Software has addressed a buffer overflow vulnerability in Flexnet Publisher. Flexera Software FlexNet Publisher is a software license manager that provides licensing models and solutions for software vendors. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would send a malicious data to the affected application. If successfully exploited, this vulnerability would allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the affected application or crash the lmgrd.exe parent process and restart the affected application.
