Discussion

Microsoft has released a security bulletin addressing a vulnerability in Windows Media Center. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would entice a user to open a specially crafted Media Center link (.mcl) file that references malicious code. If successfully exploited, the attacker would execute arbitrary code and compromise the affected system.
