Discussion

RealNetworks has reported a vulnerability affecting RealPlayer. RealPlayer is an application which allows users to play various media formats on Mac and Windows platforms. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would entice a user to view or access a malicious media file hosted on a website. If successfully exploited, this vulnerability would allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code and compromise the affected system.
