Microsoft has released a security bulletin addressing a vulnerability in the Microsoft .NET Framework. The Microsoft .NET Framework is a component of the Microsoft Windows operating system that enables building and running software applications and web services. To exploit this vulnerability, an unauthenticated attacker could send a small number of specially crafted requests to an affected .NET-enabled website. If successfully exploited, this vulnerability allows for an unauthenticated attacker to degrade the performance of a .NET-enabled website, creating a denial of service condition.
