Discussion

Microsoft has released a security bulletin addressing multiple vulnerabilities in Microsoft Windows Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) technology. Microsoft OLE is the technology that applications use to create and edit compound documents. To exploit these vulnerabilities, an attacker would locate a vulnerable host and attempt arbitrary input. If successfully exploited, these vulnerabilities would allow an attacker to elevate privileges and compromise an affected system.
