Discussion

Cisco has released an advisory addressing multiple vulnerabilities affecting Cisco products incorporated a version of the OpenSSL package. To exploit these vulnerabilities, an attacker would submit malicious requests to an affected application using OpenSSL. If successfully exploited, these vulnerabilities would allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service condition, gain access to sensitive information, and compromise the system.
