Discussion

Microsoft has released a security bulletin addressing an elevation of privilege vulnerability in the Windows Pragmatic General Multicast (PGM). To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would first have to log on to the target system, and then run a malicious application that is designed to create the race condition. If successfully exploited, this vulnerability would allow an attacker to execute code with elevated privileges.
