Discussion

Symantec has released a security advisory addressing a cross-site scripting vulnerability in Netbackup OpsCenter. Symantec NetBackup OpsCenter is a monitoring, alerting, and reporting application. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would would entice a user to view a malicious URL via email sent. If successfully exploited, this vulnerability would allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the browser of the affected system.
