DHCP allows for the unauthenticated configuration of network parameters on the system by exchanging information with a DHCP server.

Check Content

Verify no interface is configured to use DHCP. # ifconfig -a # chkconfig | grep autoconfig_ipaddress If an interface is set to DHCP and autoconfig_ipaddress is set to on, this is a finding.

Fix Text

Delete the DHCP client configuration.
