The organization being inspected/assessed defines and documents information concerning impact, environment of operations, known or assumed threats, and acceptable risk levels to be used to perform threat modeling for the information system by the developer. DoD has determined the information is not appropriate to define at the Enterprise level.

Validation Procedures

The organization conducting the inspection/assessment obtains and examines the documented information to ensure the organization being inspected/assessed defines information concerning impact, environment of operations, known or assumed threats, and acceptable risk levels to be used to perform threat modeling for the information system by the developer. DoD has determined the information is not appropriate to define at the Enterprise level.

Compelling Evidence

1.) System security plan (SSP). 2.) System development life cycle (SDLC) documentation. 3.) Continuous monitoring plan defining information concerning impact, environment of operations, known or assumed threats and acceptable risk levels to be used to perform threat modeling for the information system by developers.
