The organization being inspected/assessed performs preventive maintenance on information system components defined in MA-6 (1), CCI 2899 at time intervals defined in MA-6 (1), CCI 2900. The organization must maintain schedules and records of preventive maintenance.

Validation Procedures

The organization conducting the inspection/assessment obtains and examines schedules and records of preventive maintenance to ensure the organization being inspected/assessed performs preventive maintenance on information system components defined in MA-6 (1), CCI 2899 at time intervals defined in MA-6 (1), CCI 2900.
