The organization being inspected/assessed defines and documents the personnel or roles who can provide an exemption that explicitly authorizes removal of equipment from the facility. DoD has determined the personnel or roles are not appropriate to define at the Enterprise level.

Validation Procedures

The organization conducting the inspection/assessment obtains and examines the documented personnel or roles to ensure the organization being inspected/assessed defines the personnel or roles who can provide an exemption that explicitly authorizes removal of equipment from the facility. DoD has determined the personnel or roles are not appropriate to define at the Enterprise level.

Compelling Evidence

1.) Signed and dated System Security Plan (SSP), including a list of personnel or roles who can approve an exemption that explicitly authorizes the removal of equipment from the facility.
