The organization being inspected/assessed defines and documents the conditions, that when detected, the information system enters a safe mode of operation with organization-defined restrictions of safe mode of operation. DoD has determined the conditions are not appropriate to define at the Enterprise level.

Validation Procedures

The organization conducting the inspection/assessment obtains and examines the documented conditions to ensure the organization being inspected/assessed defines the conditions, that when detected, the information system enters a safe mode of operation with organization-defined restrictions of safe mode of operation. DoD has determined the conditions are not appropriate to define at the Enterprise level.
