Implementation Guidance

The organization being inspected/assessed defines and documents the techniques and methods to be used to identify unauthorized use of the information system. DoD has determined the techniques and methods are not appropriate to define at the Enterprise level.

Validation Procedures

The organization conducting the inspection/assessment obtains and examines the documented techniques to ensure the organization being inspected/assessed defines the techniques and methods to be used to identify unauthorized use of the information system. DoD has determined the techniques and methods are not appropriate to define at the Enterprise level.

1.) Signed and dated System security plan with reference to section pertaining to the techniques and methods to be used to identify unauthorized use of the information system.
