Implementation Guidance

The organization being inspected/assessed documents and implements a process to purge /wipe information from information systems, system components, or devices defined in MP-6 (8), CCI 2575 either remotely or under conditions defined in MP-6 (8), CCI 2576.

Validation Procedures

The organization conducting the inspection/assessment obtains and examines the documented process to ensure the organization being inspected/assessed provides the capability to purge /wipe information from information systems, system components, or devices defined in MP-6 (8), CCI 2575 either remotely or under conditions defined in MP-6 (8), CCI 2576.

Compelling Evidence

1.) Signed and dated SOP or TTP enabling the purging/wiping of organization-defined information systems
