Implementation Guidance

The organization being inspected/assessed employs out-of-band channels defined in SC-37, CCI 2521 for the electronic transmission or physical delivery of information, information system components, or devices defined in SC-37, CCI 2522 to individuals or information systems defined in SC-37, CCI 2523.

Validation Procedures

The organization conducting the inspection/assessment obtains and examines any applicable evidence of out-of-band channels to ensure the organization being inspected/assessed employs out-of-band channels defined in SC-37, CCI 2521 for the electronic transmission or physical delivery of information, information system components, or devices defined in SC-37, CCI 2522 to individuals or information systems defined in SC-37, CCI 2523.
