The organization being inspected/assessed defines and documents the out-of-band channels to be employed for the physical delivery or electronic transmission of organization-defined information, information system components, or devices. DoD has determined the out-of-band channels are not appropriate to define at the Enterprise level.

Validation Procedures

The organization conducting the inspection/assessment obtains and examines the documented out-of-band channels to ensure the organization being inspected/assessed defines the out-of-band channels to be employed for the physical delivery or electronic transmission of organization-defined information, information system components, or devices. DoD has determined the out-of-band channels are not appropriate to define at the Enterprise level.
