The organization being inspected/assessed documents and implements within the audit and accountability policy and procedures, a process to coordinate the additional auditable events. The objective is to enhance mutual support and to help guide the selection of auditable events. The organization must maintain artifacts of the coordination.
The organization conducting the inspection/assessment obtains and examines the audit and accountability policy and procedures as well as artifacts of the coordination to determine if coordination is necessary and if necessary, whether it has been performed.
