(U//FOUO) The HIPS client version must be the equivalent to or greater than version 8, at the minimum mandated patch level specified in USCYBERCOM TASKORD 16-0080. As this STIG was for HIPS versions prior to version 8, this STIG is no longer required. The HIPS 8 STIG should be used on all compliant HIPS installations. USCYBERCOM TASKORDS and OPORDS can be found on SIPR: https://www.cybercom.smil.mil. The HIP client baseline versions can be found in the baseline documentation of the HBSS section within the DoD patch repository: https://patches.csd.disa.mil/Default.aspx.
