CA API Gateway ALG STIG Version Comparison

There are 2 differences between versions v1 r1 (Sept. 19, 2016) (the "left" version) and v1 r3 (July 24, 2024) (the "right" version).

Check CAGW-GW-000920 was added to the benchmark in the "right" version.

The CA API ALG must be using a version supported by the vendor.

Check Content

This STIG is sunset and no longer updated. Compare the version running to the supported version by the vendor. If the system is using an unsupported version from the vendor, this is a finding.

Discussion

Systems running an unsupported software/firmware version lack current security fixes required to mitigate the risks associated with recent vulnerabilities.

Fix

Upgrade to a version supported by the vendor.
